Life is... we all shared sharing and will share the same sky the person can be different the time and era can be different and it can intrigue so many different emotions although hardship is one thing that is intertwined with all. This is life and it is inevitable. Still there is was and will be something that keeps us going. And its produced by OLM. This show is set in Chinese feudal era but every episode or sequence is fiction nothing is related to the real story or life. Like the name says a person leads a simple life as an apothecary but it is much larger than this. Which makes it different from the usual SOL or mystery anime. Most people wondered why I added mystery because in the whole show Maomao the protagonist solves case after case and just like that the story progressed and characters developed around her and Maomao. And I have mentioned this: in this show every action is connected to a thread. And if I say more specifically then every case has a different taste a different twist and the most interesting thing is that every case gives the feeling that its an individual and that its connected to others. I know it sounds confusing but believe me itll happen. I said it previously: every action and case are connected to a single thread. As I already mentioned the story of The Apothecary Diaries set in the Chinese feudal era where an herbalist and poison enthusiast more likely freak Maomao git kidnapped from her village and sold where she has forced to work for various concubine. There she met so many people and encountered many mysteries. By the way nothing too much to mention about the story or plots. The story might be set in the ancient era but the female character writing was top notch. The protagonist Maomao she is a frail physically but her determination and the intellectual level was something worthy to mention. She born in a village where women are used as a playtime so she tried to hide herself from standing out too much she even used wet soil to create freckle. When we write diary the emotions or feelings arent same in every page words change on the base of the day. Thats leave an individuality from each day or page. But those pages are written by that writer who gone through from everything. As well The Apothecary Diaries is a like bundle of experiences that connect everything to a single thread of sequence. Every laugh tear sadness effort and love you might not feel like instant but throughout the show it just leaves a mellowing touch. Just like life which is hard one to forget. Apothecary Dairies is the Fall 23 one of the best shows obviously along with Frieren. I really recommend anyone to watch this show because it is really good. But it is also true that Apothecary Dairies is not for everyone thats why if you dont like its also understandable.
