Girl 15 Noriko Nakagawa is the storys primary female character and Shuuyas first companion. She is a quiet reserved girl. She is shot in the lower leg by Yonemi for attempting to help Nobu and also gets ill. Although she does not realize it she manages to keep Shuuya sane.
