THE PERFECT COMBINATION BETWEEN THE ODDITY OF MAPPA AND THE DARK ATMOSPHERE OF AN ALMOST UNKNOWN WORK Each season brings its revelation and I personally found the summer one in Idaten Deities I will refer to the show this way throughout the review to distinguish it from the characters called Idaten the latest adaptation of the MAPPA studio that we have come to know in all its features both positive and negative. PLOT: Idaten Deities has its roots in a plot that is not particularly original but not boring and predictable. Idaten Deities tells of how the eternal feud between gods and demons has been carried up to a more modern age and how this war has even affected humanity itself that populates this world helpless in the face of the enormous power of the two factions. 800 years after the final defeat of the demons a remnant of that faction tries to regain its place in the world triggering the prompt reaction of the Idatens who for all those years have guarded the seal that kept the enemy clan imprisoned. A peculiarity of the anime is certainly the dark atmosphere of the work accompanied by a large amount of exaggerations and situations to the limit in order to bring out even more the excessive power of the characters. This feature is certainly the main factor that has led many people to drop the series so I recommend seeing it only to those who actually dont have big problems with rape splatter scenes and ethically incorrect situations. 1000https://ur.com/PZlt7Gr.png CHARACTERS: The series is characterized by the most varied characters that it is possible to conceive: Hayato the classic protagonist who wants to become stronger Ysley the strategist of the Idatens the tender and naive Paula the sensei Rin who has survived from the times of the seal her pupil with clown shoes Prontea. To these are added a series of characters excellently characterized by the demon faction: the shortlived Nickel the general Piscalat the child fetishist Miku the emperors Brandy and Takeshita and the cryptic OverM center of the mysteries that characterize the world of Idaten Deities.
