actually cared a lot about writing what i thought that would happen before watching because i had no idea of the plot or anything i didnt even read the synopsis because i wanted to be surprised and luckily i was. what i wrote was: i think the anime will be approaching the relationship between the two girls as an admiration kind of love and care and not a romance or at least a more implicit romance. i didnt think that they would kiss and like the most romantic physical touch would be from their hands for like 5 seconds. obviously it surprised me a lot because in less than five minutes of the anime it already showed a scene where they kiss storyline / enredo asagao to kasesan has a really cute and short story where the focus is not only on the two girls relationship but also situations that are really common between teenagers having to choose a college the fear of losing a love because of long distance issues with their own bodies and other stuff. for me the storyline was really nice and i liked the way they made the anime so comfortable to watch. the only moment you feel uncomfortable or worried watching is when from yamadas eyes we see that their relationship could end up in a crisis but this concern feeling is obviously caused on purpose so that we understand how yamada feels in that moment. i loved the animation and have nothing to complain about it it was what mainly made me want to watch it because the characters are so cute and the scenarios are pretty as well. ill get on more details about the plot on future topics but basically the story is really nice and it makes you want to continue watching to see whats going to happen and if theyre going to have a happy ending which is really cool too wlw representation / representatividade wlw on this topic i wont be talking too much about their relationship itself the way they treat each other or anything like that but how the wlw concept is introduced and how people treat this question on the anime. it was a big shock for me when they actually introduced kase and yamada as girlfriends i wasnt expecting it at all even though they still call each other friends when talking about the other to someone. it was also very cute mikawas reaction to the fact that the girls were dating she just guessed it and asked why her friend didnt tell her earlier which is a pretty cute reaction in my opinion. the way wlw is not seen as a problem or a big deal on the anime and a wlw relationship is just treated like any other couple makes me really happy as a wlw person myself who has seen some pretty bad sapphic representation on media before seeing an anime like asagao to kasesan makes my heart warm and gives me hope. yamada finally the topic about their relationship that ive been thinking about writing since i started watching i was so so soo excited to say how much i loved their dynamic and some cute stuff i realized paying attention closely to it. well the first thing is about how kase worries about yamada and her feelings its one of the things that i mostly noticed when it comes to her love language she always wants to make sure yamada is okay and doesnt have anything that shes been hiding or afraid to say. she cares so much about yamadas comfort and honestly thats so cute i think its the cutest love language ive ever seen from a character of a romance anime. in the scene on yamadas bedroom she wanted to make sure her girlfriend was 100 comfortable about taking more steps on their relationship on the trip they went she also asked her if anything was wrong and even if she wanted to break up with her and wasnt saying it. theres so many animes where even with the most obvious behaviours someones partner doesnt care or ask if theyre alright and thats what i like the most about kase you can really see that she wants her girlfriend to be comfortable and dont hide anything from her. on yamadas side i would say her love language probably would be gifting kase either with more common gifts like the matching mermaid thing that they have on their phone or the matching stuff they were planning to buy on their trip or with gifts like the food that she made for kase to express how much she cared about her. their relationship is just really cute and natural a lot of problems or situations they go through are really common between the wlw community and i think it deserves a lot of love and recognition for representing sapphic relationships so well. that she got worried kase would replace her when in Tokyo was because of how insecure she was with her body or the fact that she had never been in a relationship before but i dont know for sure if it could be the case. anyways thats just a little thing that i wanted to point out because i thought would be explored a little bit more but i understand you cant show much progress on someones body insecurities in just one episode of an anime. final considerations / consideraes finais for my final considerations about asagao to kasesan i would say that i 100 love and recommend it to anyone who enjoy cute romance animes its really worth watching and the wlw representation made me so much happy honestly i would even say that is probably the best romance anime that ive ever seen and it only has one episode. you dont have to do a deep analysis about it or pay attention to every single attitude to enjoy it its really simple and cute and i loved it sooo much will surely be on my recommendations after i watched it. the plot music characters design and everything was just on point and i dont have anything to complain about honestly. if youre looking for a cute couple more wlw
