Story: 9/10 The plot is very original I enjoy the fantasy aspect. Its filled with faeries dragons vampires spirits sorcerers magical beings and much more yet to be discovered. The plot may start slow at first but the development is outstanding. I highly recommend giving this manga a try. The anime was beautiful yet should include more story. I gave it a 9 because I expected more romance and funny moments. Despite that as you read you will see the character development of Chise and the strong friendships she makes and you will be satisfied. Art: 9/10 Theres nothing really special about the art style its simply beautiful and with some color it would be just as amazing as the anime. The way the magical world is presented is beautiful and gives you a tranquil feeling. Characters: 89/10 The character development after chapter 40 is absolutely intriguing. You really start digging into their personalities after that especially Eliass who may not understand human emotions but is always there for Chise. Just as I mentioned Chises character is steadily developing. She overcomes her struggles one by one and finds her place in the world. Some of the characters may seem twisted to you all irrelevant for the story but if you look closely they all have a role to play. Overall 9/10 A beautiful manga mostly serious with unique story. If you are into fantasy then this will blow your mind. The messages of the story are hidden behind artwork and difficult to understand but once you do it makes sense. I expect more of the characters though. Other than that its not a waste of time to read.
