MUCC

MUCC is a japanese rock band formed in Ibaraki Japan in 1997. The band has four members: Tatsurou Iwakami vocals Masaaki Yaguchi guitar YUKKE Yusuke Fukuno bass SATO Satochi Takayasu drums In 1997 exmember Hiro was the bassist replaced by YUKKE in 1999. The bands name decided upon by guitarist was originally the name of a character from the Japanese childrens program Ponkickies. The band is also known as sixnine from a play on words since sixnine can be pronounced muku in Japanese. June 9th 6/9 is also known as MUCC day by their fans. Source: last.fm
