An elderly blacksmith and a friend of InunoTaishou InuYasha and Sesshoumarus father who forged the Tessaiga and the Tenseiga. He rarely appears unless to repair the damaged swords or instruct InuYasha in hidden powers within the Tessaiga. Ttsai can breathe fire and wields a giant forging hammer. He also is transported by a three eyed ox which can fly. Totosai means sword purification.
