Musashi Tomoe

The third pilot he is an extremely hotblooded young man and controls the Getter machine quotBearquot and Getter3. Musashi is short and fat but also physically very strong as the leader of his prefecture039s Judo team who has yet to be defeated in a match. Though he fails the physical and mental tests required to pilot Getter Robo he makes up for it with hotblooded spirit and stubbornness becoming a valued member of the team. Musashi039s goofy and clumsy personality forms much of the comic relief in the original series. His portrayal in the 1970s series is fairly close to the original manga unlike many of the other characters.
