IA is a Japanese VOCALOID developed and distributed by 1st Place Co. Ltd. and was released in January 2012 for the first VOCALOID3 engine. Her voice is provided by the Japanese female singer Lia known for Tori no Uta. This song was written by Jun Maeda and used for the opening theme of the visual novel Air. Her voice was also used to sing a majority of songs that make up the Kagerou Project created by JIN.
