Saitou Takaaki

Matsushitas fellow classmate and constant companion he is like Matsushita in that he is always targeted by the school bullies and hooligans. However unlike Matsushita he is far more quick tempered and less willing to take the beatings lying down. Later in the series an old junior high classmate of his named Yamane Junji reveals to him that hes joined the Yakuza and forcibly steals the Karate Clubs money from him.
