Chappy is Papuwa039s dog and they039ve been together all their lives. The blue stone around Chappy039s neck is actually the stone of desire given to him by Papuwa who stole it from Shintaro early on in the first series. For the most part he is the only animal on the island who doesn039t speak however he has on few occasions using the power of the stone of desire
