Asura is a fire elemental Demon God sent by her master to offer Kurohime the ability to be freed from her curse if she lends the demons her aid. Initially she hates both humans and Gods seeing Kurohime as nothing more then a tool to be used to meet the needs of her kind who value the best intentions for the whole race over individual needs. As she travels with Kurohime she starts to gain a better opinion of humans going so far to protect a human child during the witches039 assault on Edo to lure out Kurohime.
