They instantly become rivals but fight and train together for the rest of the series. Shinobu is very strong calm and confident in his skills. This helps him take the upper hand in a lot of battles. He has a lot of respect for the legendary bladers and is flustered when he first meets Tsubasa who fought alongside them and who is now the president of the WBBA.
