Gumi

GUMI is an official mascot character of Megpoid / Meguppoido which is a singing synthesizer application software powered by Yamahas Vocaloid2 and was published by INTERNET Co.Ltd. The avatar character of the software drawn by the illustrator Masami Yuuki Yuuki Masami. Gumi was the next Vocaloid to be released from Internet Co. Ltd and had a more retrofuturistic approach than Gakupo had. The name GUMI is from the voice provider Megumi Nakajimas nickname in her childhood. The software name of Megpoid is taken from the providers name Megumi. The name of poid on the end of the name is short for like Vocaloid the full implied name of this product is Megumilike Vocaloid.
