Taroumaru

In the anime Taromaru is notably an intelligent and tolerant dog putting up with anything Yuki puts him up to and being able to open doors and escape. He is able to avoid infected citizens and escape to the safety of Kei and Miki and is later found by Kurumi in the mall. He is taken in by the School Life Club members as their mascot. In the manga Taromaru is a Shiba Inu puppy that Yuki found while exploring.
