All anime must be airing or have aired in the current season. You can watch the anime at any time as long as it is before the submission deadline on July 19th 2020 at 23:59 UTC. If you drop a show you must replace it with another. You can use an anime you have previously started as long as it is still airing this season see below for details about completing anime. You can use anime from other challenges. You cannot use anime with the format Music. You cannot use anime with the genre Hentai except where they have the format TV You cannot use speed watching to complete this challenge. Your watching activity must be visible on your profile This includes all episode progress and an activity showing each anime as completed Your activity must include the start and end dates which can be added in the AniList List Editorhttps://i.ur.com/bVWyLvV.png Your profile must be set to public so we can verify your anime list and activity Completing Anime Generally if an anime is listed as Spring 2020 on AniList you can watch it for this challenge. Some shows from previous seasons will be finishing this season while others will be continuing into Summer 2020. We will continue to allow some Chinese shows which can be found in the Special Cases list. The individual rules only apply if you are watching each show you do not need to watch any particular anime listed. You must make a note if you are watching an ongoing dub so that we can take this into account when reviewing your challenge. Regular shows with 1 cour or less movies and specials: You must have completed all episodes. Leftovers shows with 2 cours or more that finish this season: You must have completed all episodes. Continuing shows that continue after this season: You must be uptodate at the time of your submission. Special Cases some anime may not fit the criteria because they may be starting later or have irregular release schedules. Any special cases for this season are listed below. What is a cour? x26A0xFE0F UPDATE NEW 7EPISODE RULE Please check below for a list of all anime that can be used for the Spring 2020 Challenge NEW RULES TV and TV Shorts The anime must have aired at least 7 episodes this season since April 1st 2020 you must be uptodate at the time of submission. This includes English dubs. ONA/OVAs with 7 episodes or more The anime must have aired at least 7 episodes this season since April 1st 2020 you must be uptodate at the time of submission. This includes some Chinese shows that were previously disallowed. Movies Specials and OVA/ONAs with less than 7 episodes The anime must be fully completed. Special Cases Some anime may not fit the criteria but may be allowed on a casebycase basis. Spring 2020 shows that do not meet the 7episode threshold by July 19th will NOT count towards the Spring 2020 Challenge They can still be used for the 2020 Classic Challenge at the end of the year In some cases they may be allowed for the Summer 2020 Seasonal challenge this will be decided on a peranime basis at the start of next season. AWC will try to keep this list as uptodate as we can please note that because the situation regarding airing anime is always changing it may not always be fully uptodate.
