Anime tainted my opinion

I used to be quite a big fan of MMOs such as WoW GW2 and Runescape. But after watching so many isekais based off of games they just seem so perfect compared to anything that is currently on the market. Does anyone have a similar feeling? It may be games or maybe a tainted opinion on say romance in school or clubs in school.
