Each was founded by a member of the original crew of the guild ship that first landed on the coast of Awchallanis. Together they formed The Council which maintained peace in the realm through sharing their collective expertise and knowledge At least that was their intention. However over many years The Council has been fraught with disagreements and clashes over the rights of each clan conflicting interests and opposing desires. Despite the peaceful intentions of their forebearers the descendants of The Council members and the objectives of their clans are now critically at odds so Awchallanis finds itself on the brink of war. The Council has been disbanded. Only the clan with the resources the ingenuity the power and the Heroes on their side will be victorious and beat the other clans to take sole leadership of the new council. The Heros War is a community challenge where participants pledge allegiance to 1 of 6 clans and watch anime episodes in order to defeat the other 5 clans Challengers are given a set of 5 random requirements designed by the clan they have joined. The requirements are related to the lore and members of their chosen clan. Each clan is based around one of the Staff teams within AWC Completing these requirements enables challengers to score points against the opposing clans represented as damage to a clan of their choice or as healing to their own clan in some cases Each 10 minutes of anime watched deals 1 point of damageThe total runtime of all anime you watch added together is always rounded down to the last 10 minute thresholdFor example an anime with a total runtime of 288 minutes will do 28 points of damage. There are 2 classes that anyone can choose the Foot Soldier and the Combat Medic Additionally if you have completed the Heros Dawn Challenge you may use the class you picked for your character in said challenge Each class has its own Hero Effect that will affect the total damage dealt as well as add some other effects or buffs. Base Damage refers to the damage calculated using your total minutes watched for a battle before applying any additional effects or buffs Total Damage refers to the total damage dealt after applying all additional effects and buffs The Healing effect will heal some HP to your own clan The SelfRecoil effect will deal some damage to your own clan The Added Damage buff will add a bonus to the damage dealt by the next attackers from your clan based on their base damage The Added Healing buff will add a bonus to the HP healed by the next healers from your clan based on their base damage Your Hero Effects will be applied before damage is rounded down during the damage calculation. The Total Damage is rounded down to the nearest whole number after factoring in any class multiplier. Rounding occurs separately for your own class multiplier and each buff you receive Buff amounts are capped based on the Base Damage of the buffer. A buff cannot add more healing or damage than 300 of the Base Damage of the buffer. So as an example if an Alchemist watches 50 minutes 5 Base Damage then their buff cannot add more than 15 damage to the next attack. For classes that give two buffs this 300 cap is split evenly between the two buffs so 150 of Base Damage per buff The full list of classes and their respective hero effects are listed below: Foot Soldier: Deals Base Damage x 1 Combat Medic: Deals Base Damage x 0.75 and heals Base Damage x 0.25 Alchemist: Deals Base Damage x 0.5 and gives Added Damage x 1 to the next attacker from their clan Assassin: Deals Base Damage x 0.75 and gives Added Damage x 0.5 to the next attacker from their clan. All anime watched with any of the tags Assassins Gangs Mafia Triads or Yakuza will deal their Base Damage x 1.25 Barbarian: Deals Base Damage x 2. Gets hit from SelfRecoil damage x 0.5 calculated from the Base Damage dealt by all anime watched that have a runtime lower than 400 minutes Bard: Does not deal damage and heals Base Damage x 1.75. All anime watched that have the genre Music or the tag Musical will heal their Base Damage x 2.25. You should state your own clan as your target in your Battle Entry Cleric: Deals Base Damage x 0.5 and heals Base Damage x 1. All anime watched that have any of the tags Gods Angels Iyashikei or Medicine will heal for their Base Damage x 1.5 Dark Knight: Deals Base Damage x 1 and gives Added Healing x 0.5 to the next healer or Dark Knight from their clan. All anime watched with the tag AntiHero or Chuunibyou will deal their Base Damage x 1.5 Druid: Does not deal damage heals Base Damage x 1.5 and gives Added Healing x 0.5 to the next healer from their clan. You should state your own clan as your target in your Battle Entry Necromancer: Does not deal damage heals Base Damage x 0.75 and gives Added Damage x 0.5 to the next 2 attackers or Necromancers from their clan. You should state 2 targets in your Battle Entry: your own clan as well as a rival clan to attack in case your attack is buffed Paladin: Deals Base Damage x 0.75 heals Base Damage x 0.5 gives Added Damage x 0.25 to the next attacker from their clan and gives Added Healing x 0.25 to the next healer from their clan Ranger: Deals Base Damage x 1.5. Can choose to divide their damage equally between 2 clans. If the damage is divided they deal Base Damage x 2. You must state in your Battle Entry that you are dividing the damage and the 2 target clans Samurai: Deals Base Damage x 1.25. All anime watched with the tag Samurai or Swordplay will deal their Base Damage x 1.75 Summoner: Deals Base Damage x 1 heals Base Damage x 0.25 and gives Added Healing x 0.25 to the next 2 healers from their clan Rogue: Deals Base Damage x 1 and gives Added Damage x 0.25 to the next 2 attackers from their clan Warrior: Deals Base Damage x 1.5 Wizard: Deals Base Damage x 1.
