This doesnt in any way affect the other challenge modes and you will still be able to acquire other badges by completing the particular requirements. UPDATE 20190407: At the end of the challenge your post should contain the total distance run in each month even if it is 0. The CHECKPOINT system is no longer mandatory. Checkpoints: At the beginning of every month you must make sure that your post is up to date with your current progress. The deadline for each checkpoint is the first Saturday 23:59 GMT of each month. In case you havent gone running at all in the previous month you have to record that you run 0 km or 0 miles but dont worry not running for a month doesnt count as a missed checkpoint only failing to update your progress during the required time frame is considered one. You are allowed a total of two missed checkpoints. After you miss the third one you will be disqualified from further participation in the challenge. All badges acquired till then will remain with you. Challenge Time Limit: January 1st 2019 23:59 GMT January 1st 2020 23:59 GMT The challenge must be started before October 1st 2019 23:59 GMT. Set your own custom goal if you want to acquire the custom mode badge. As soon as I get to it Ill reply to your post to lockin your goal and leave you unable to change it mid challenge so think carefully before you pick it. You must keep track on your progress through editing your submission here at least once a month. Add a keyword CHECKPOINT after each month with a date and a total distance run so far. Add a keyword FINISH before the deadline of the challenge. Mark the date when you finished the challenge and write the total distance completed during the year. Start date: the date you went out running for the first time this year. If you dont remember it just use the date of your reply instead. The rule about decimals has been removed. The deadline for starting the challenge has been changed to July October 1st 2019 23:59 GMT.
