In a small alleyway in Higashiyama, Kyoto, there are two boarding houses, and in the alley these form, dubbed "outcast alleyway," there are only two tenants. So one of them, the daughter of the current landlord, pesters the other tenant into helping her gather more residents, specifically other outcasts.
