Without standing out or going against the flow, that's how Kotani Kaboku lives his life. On top of being a bit introverted, his stuttering makes meeting new people in his first day of high school that much more tiresome. As he is walking through the school, his gaze is drawn to a student who is dancing by herself in the middle of the day.

The expressive movements she unintentionally showed him screamed loud and clear every letter of the word "Freedom", and is that same feeling he will be searching for as he learns to freestyle in his school's dance club.
