A very wellmade thoughtout and well directed detective film. This inconspicuous film from the Detective Conan series can rival more than one thrilling American film. The film is suitable for longtime Conan fans as well as people who have never watched it. At the beginning of the film we get a short explanation of the plot of the series which will be useful for understanding the film. Good use of comedy Comedy in Detective Conan is always something beautiful. Similarly in this case we get a solid dose of humor. Starting with the classic eternally sarcastic jokes of Haibara Conan who looks at Kogoro as a moron because he as usual cannot solve the simplest logical puzzles ending with Kogoro eating his fist that made me laugh the most xD. A great presentation of wellknown characters such as detective boys team Ran or Sonoko. Of course this brings up a lot of positive memories associated with the series. After watching this movie I realized a bit how manipulative Conan himself is haha he literally sets everyone around without them knowing. As always in the series of detective conan from the very beginning we see the main character seeing the smallest details needed to solve the case. The brilliant Conan does not disappoint us this time as well and he quickly connects the facts. As always he embarrasses the viewer with his extraordinary perceptiveness and reasoning while being as cute as always The animation was definitely outstanding and good. As usual I dont like the CGI models in 2D animes but they were made very well here. They didnt look out of place or ugly. The shadows on them were made in a good and appropriate way which is often a problem in this type of animation. Great backgrounds and landscapes showed how good detective Conan can be. Smooth animations good transitions generally polished drawing. All this makes the movie tense until the last moment. Its a shame that they used real life characters in the ending instead of animations in the style of the rest of the movie but its good that they had a bit more budget for these wellmade animations earlier on : Soundtrack and sound effects As always in this series at the highest level. Good old jazz Conan never dissapoints. As far as the plot is concerned its actually a good old classic Case Closed. What can I say if you like detective puzzles you will probably like it if they are boring for you just dont watch it like with the rest of the movies etc. from this series. Summary Good old Detective Conan in a better graphic version with as always brilliant humor and soundtrack. I recommend it to any fanatic of detective and suspenseful movies.
