Change 123 is the story about a girl who was trained vigorously by birth by her 3 fathers after her mother had died. Due to this she gains 3 distinct personalities. The sexy badass shooter the alternate highschool personality that excels in martial arts and her childlike personality which has mastered judo. Alongside this highschool girl 3+? comes our main characters. A crybaby who really likes Kamen rider superhero. He figures out her secret of having 3 different personalities and they began a special relationship. This manga honestly at the start was kinda awesome. The main heroine especially was just fucking awesome. I especially liked the badass shooter personality. She was really smart. One time she was wearing a dress with a big slit on the sides so if she lifted her legs too high people would be able to see her underwear something the main character actually told her to be careful of. But she removes the problem altogether by not wearing underwear at all... GENIUS. The other heroines personalities all have their own charm including the main heroine personality. They all were likable some were just simply more likable then others. But thats not why i liked this manga. This manga is absolutely brutal. Bones are breaking fingers are being torn. Much of the series is incredibly violent. More so than i expected. The action of this series is quite spectacular. Im honestly upset the author decided to make this series an ecchi. I dont like fanservice with my action scenes. But most of the good and entertaining action scenes were actually not deterred by boobs so i guess the author did kind of understand what the audience wanted to see at the time. Honestly the action is definitely very well done by the author and brutal to boot. Their are bones sticking out of people. Their was a scene where one of the characters actually rips of an assailants arm and starts beating the shit out of the attacker with it. Definitely one of my favorite moments in the series. The series is mostly based around female fighters. Many of the strong characters are actually women. Which itself isnt a problem their are strong male characters but definitely the series really revolves around female fighters. Female fighting in general. I also liked the villains in the series. I mean they were assholes. But they werent rapists. Even those generic looking ones were their face looks like they are rapists werent rapist. The author instead opted for a more smart approach with the bad guys and i really liked it. Its amazing how making someone not a rapey generic bad guy goes so far. The series though starts great starts going downhill after the brown chick is introduced.... I know their are better ways to end that sentence. The thing is the 4th volume was absolutely brutal and though you seen that brutality in the later volumes it just never lives up to the quality of the first 4 volumes. Another thing i liked is that the main character was also getting character development. I really wished the main character became stronger too but he just remained a whiny little bitch. You can be strong without being physically strong. Rokudou no Onnatachi is an excellent example of a main character being strong without having the muscle for it. Sadly even though it seemed like it was going in that direction it just never goes further. TLDR: i liked the boobs and the ecchi scenes in general. Unless they were in between fight scenes. I liked the villains unless they were generic rapey bad guys. Overall though i think the series just loses in terms of quality in the last 8 volumes. Not by a lot mind you. But enough for me to say this isnt a must read. 6/10
