I was pushing finishing this series further and further away for a long time. And thats because it made me SO uncomfortable to keep watching... The show presents a story of two higschoolers who are really good friends. One is an adorable little goofball with way too much energy and a good home and the other is a pityfull dog gangsta boy with some shady friends and unhealthy family. One day the older brother of the goofball helps the gangsta get out of the toxic enviroment and everything is fixed. All lived happily ever after and found romance after that... Except the goofball has some creepyass yandere childhood friend who is definitely a threat to society. Before he actually manages to kill our goofball though they talk it over and somehow become a loveydovey couple. Sure. Yeah I mean its weird I give you that BUT Well lets just leave them to have fun together shall we? What about the other boy and the ACTUAL main ship of this series? Oh well nothing wrong here. Just our gangsta boy turns out to be real wife material and he falls for the goofballolderbrother who just became a teacher at their highschool. How adorabl Wait... WAIT WHAT I dont want to be a partypooper here but that sounds hella wrong no matter how you look at it. A child gets saved by an older boy at that point they were both teens but the age gap is still kinda significant though and starts admiring him. A child that never had a father figure in his life a child that was looking for some affection and safety that he couldnt get from his mother. And with time that admiration turns into actual feelings of love later on. Sure. Yeah... Our older brother claims this whole thing is genuine and they both love each other but... How could an adult ever really expect that to be true? Its a teenager. The adult should have been responsible here and just kept this down and kept it hidden at least until the boy grows a bit older. I just cant get over the fact that this show pretends hes a good teacher while this is going on. Eh...Generally speaking the characters were quite okay though for the level of toxicity we usually get to see in BL. I also enjoyed the growth of friendly relationships not only the romantic ones. There was not much of pointless mishaps or characters struggling to understand each other. It should be a very pleasant series to watch. But I just cant... I cant really enjoy a story about an adult dating a teenager especially a studentteacher pair Of course this is a show so it can portray something dramatic and perhaps illegal or wrong. I have no problems with that and I would usually welcome it as it makes for a better story but They could have made the kids graduate at the start so they are at least somewhat older. Or I dont know make them hide this relationship until our poor baby MC graduates. It would still be very dodgy but at least no at school shenanigans which were rather disgusting. I really like how the author decided to deal with some of the conflicts and you can definitly feel the difference between adultteenage way of thinking so technically the storytelling was well done. But why oh why is this shown as a good end? Why are other people ESPECIALLY other adults supporting it? What happened here was DEFINITELY ILLEGAL and INCREDIBLY unhealthy. Im just very pissed off that this kind of story is considered actually good by a lot of people. Its not something that should be shown in that kind of way. Besides the plot has its own struggles. Especially regarding our great Mister Hero with all his police connections beating up gansters and weird superhuman strenght... All that being said I am giving this a decent score nontheless. It hurt me to watch it but we all came here looking for BL and this kind of crap is nothing new. I think its pretty high on the dodgy scale but also not the absolute worst. ...At least they did say a few times how this IS a crime and how the MC was NOT at fault for all of it. The adult is the responsible one here and if this was real life I doubt anyone would be cheering him on. Somehow acknowleging this is very unique in the world of BL.
