This is all as of chapter 17 being the latest chapter so if this either gets significantly better or goes downhill down the line this was before that I did not think this would be nearly as enjoyable as I wound up finding it. It really shouldnt work with a premise right out of a hentai and the typical tropes and archetypes from stories of this genre but it does. This is perhaps the most competent Ive ever seen a haremecchi romcom manga written. For the most part it accomplishes in a chapter what its contemporaries would do in an entire arc which shows how drawn out these kinds of stories typically are. The characters though not original are handled well. They actually experience development a low bar to clear but many of this genre fail there. I actually care about the characters which I didnt expect to going into it. The arts nothing to write home about but it isnt bad. I know this is a meme but I am actually reading it for the plot now or rather the characters as its more on the sliceoflife side of things. Dont go into this expecting anything more than what it is. Judging it as an ecchiharemromcom it is legitimately very good. The premise is of a boy Saotome Hodaka who goes to a formerly allgirl now coed school where he is the only male student I know like I said right out of a hentai. There he is used bullied and teased by all the girls there. Then one of the girls Hanako Kuzuhana starts to stands up for him. Slowly but surely Saotome starts to win over the hearts of the girls in the school. With a premise like that and the nature of the manga being an ecchi series youd probably be surprised to hear Ive gotten significantly more heartboners reading this than I have actual ones Though if youre interested in reading this for that reason go ahead. It is an ecchi after all. And who knows you may just get sucked into the actual story too. Another surprising thing about this series is how I dont know who to root for. In your typical harem story theres onemaybe two girls youre rooting for. But here all the girls are likable and it really makes it hard to root for just one. Even the most unlikeable seeminglyirredeemable characters in the main cast there are some onenote unnamed side characters who appear once who this doesnt apply to become loveable. I am thoroughly excited for the next chapter to come out. After binging the first seventeen chapters and falling in love with the characters and not just the female characters the MC is plenty likable on his own waiting for each new installment is gonna be tough. Unless the story has a serious dip in quality down the line Im totally hooked and you can consider me a new fan.
