Wonderful dreams and ideals give you the power to change the world. N at the end of Pokemon Black and White. GOTCHA was presented to us at the end of the Pokemon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass Update which you can find herehttps://www..com/watch?v=ayIZaCMKpYE. This was a surprise for a lot of people as nothing too major happened in the presentation. But it was a surprise that blew us away. Whats Gotcha? GOTCHA is animated by Bones the studio responsible for shows such as Fullmetal Alchemist:Brotherhood Boku no Hero Academia and Mob Psycho 100 while the song Acacia is done by BUMP OF CHICKEN responsible for the openings for Kekkai Sesen and 3gatsu no Lion. Much like their shows and songs both Bones and BOC did an amazing job with Gotcha. The video shows a lot of characters from the games from the main characters to the champions. You see events from the Pokemon games the personality of the characters the challenges some of these characters went through. To name a few of my favorite moments: 0:50 0:57 You see the champions except for Leon with their signature Pokemon with their personality being showcased with how they use the attacks of their Pokemon/how they act alongside them except for Alder/Iris and Diantha. Diantha gives a patient and calm smile to the camera while Alder gives a highfive to Iris showing that Alder is no longer the champion and that Iris is. https://i.gyazo.com/23a37b71b19c501c0494bc417a6d8455.jpg 1:00 1:01 Its literally only a second long but its so good. You see the protagonist from the first BW game walking alongside their rival friends and then you see the protagonist from the second BW games running while the rival friends from the previous game are much older but are supporting this new protagonist. 220https://i.gyazo.com/1ee3caf5010fcf15063dbd5043bb0467.jpg 220https://i.gyazo.com/258aa667685f102767b5df0e0b2383dd.jpg 1:32 1:46 Pokemon Sword and Shield Gym Leaders the Champion and the Rivals. Much like the champions from before they show their personality with their Pokemon. https://i.gyazo.com/bdf8bc077e6d545079a8ae4e2e717344.jpg When I was younger I played Pokemon Ruby on a handmedown GBA Advanced and often watched the generation three anime on the T.V. before school. Pokemon was so interesting to me and to this day it still is. I havent played every single Pokemon game as Ive only played Firered Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald and Black 1 and 2 yet each game had something new to offer and I enjoyed it. Firered showed me that a small idea can become a bigger thing RSE showed me what a childhood was and Black 1 and 2 showed me what it means to be human. And thats why this tribute music video works. It reflects us and shows us how far things can go from a simple idea. Theres a movie on TV. Four boys are walking on railroad tracks. I better go too.
