Well I finished XW the sixth installment of the Digimon Franchise and my review is: The first part where you introduce the important characters and their mons that is between episode 1 until Nene joins the team imo is good a throwback of the adventure franchise and all the installments in general through the power of the digimemories the second part is a little bit more boring and you feel like its going nowhere. But Death Generals? That stuff was TIGHT. Its not bad its kinda enjoyable it screams more to Gurren Lagann than Digimon in some aspects because evolution is in the latest arcs and DigiXros is more used also the difference between powers is little to not respected Shoutmon is the core of the digicross a rookie level digimon can beat champions if he digixrossed and it was on the same level of power than Greymon who was Kirihas core an adult level. However it might become tedious at times the second arc only is worth watching because Nene joins XH and you think that some of Taikis companions are useless but all of them work together and that as cliche as it sounds is what makes Xros Heart good. Zenjirou and Akari dont have mons and you think theyre useless at first but you warm up to them. The characters themselves well they are good but unlike Kiriha and maybe Nene if her past is revealed in Hunters I didnt felt like Taikis desire to help everybody which makes him make ridiculous choices at times was...relatable? No none of them were relatable except Zenjirou or Akari or even Nene but it felt like it wasnt good enough. Nevertheless I love Taiki because I have a soft spot for main characters who are happy and like to help everyone. The other generals of the teams that join Taiki on their final arc are good despite how people might think Kiriha is not an expy of any rival he is in fact more annoying than the rest of them he reminded me more of Paul from Pokemon Likewise Taiki wasnt like Taichi despite the goggles he is way more of an strategist than the other leaders are and Nene was simply amazing despite her writing seemed a bit...off at times especially on the last arc other of the reasons why I loved Nene is because she was an older sister which makes XW different to its predecessors where all the older siblings were male. It takes a while to get good but I say that if you havent watched it give it a chance. Im not going to lie I watched this and will watch Hunters because of the fanservice all gens crossover liked it more than I thought I would and I liked it more than Frontier the fourth installment. Now...I suppose Ill go with Hunters.
