Hideto Takarai better known as HYDE is a Japanese musician vocalist lyricist record producer actor and voice actor. He is best known as the vocalist for the rock band LArcenCiel as well as for the band Vamps. In the band LArcenCiel he stylized his name as hyde while in his solo projects and in the band Vamps he stylized it as HYDE. He is currently active in the band LArcenCiel 1991 under the name HYDE 2001 while also a member of Vamps 20082017 who are currently on hiatus.
