Grandson of composer Ryoichi Hattori and son of composer Katsuhisa Hattori Takayuki Hattori started out his career as a music arranger for Masashi Sada before given his big break by being allowed to compose Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla 1994 after Akira Ifukube turned down the oppurtinty. Hattoris body of work tends to be diverse ranging from comedies like Welcome Back Mr. McDonald 1997 to Toeis movie adaption of the GTO TV drama series.
