Takaaki Nakahashi was born in Kyoto Japan. He started playing piano from age 3 and trombone from age 12 to study the latter in France from age 18. After graduating from the Conservatoire de SaintEtienne he studied at the Conservatoire de Lyon. Besides being active in orchestral and chamber music he also participated in clubs and events vigorously and also in performance and composition. After returning to Japan he started composing music for games and commercials. He has been a parttime lecturer at Takushoku University since September 2011.
