Shinbou Minami

Birth Place: Tokyo Japan Minami Shinbo has been here there and everywhere in postwar Japanese subculture. He was editor at Garo between 1972 and 1979 and is responsible for the magazines turn in the mod70s to a baudevillian and hetauma aesthetic. He has colalborated with famous artist and writer Akasegawa Genpei on a number of projects. He is a prolific essayist and has been involved in music film and television production and performance. He is also an illustrator and manga author.
