Åshild Kanstad Johnsen

shild Kanstad Johnsen is a Norweigan illustrator and childrens literature writer. She studied visual communication at the Bergen academy of art from 2003 to 2008. She made her debut as a childrens literature writer with the picture book Kubbe lager museum in 2010. The book won a silver award in the picture book category of the rets vakreste bker Most beautiful books of the year award in 2011. The book was adapted to the anime series Kubbe: Kort Animasjonhttps://anilist.co/anime/129869/ in 2013. shild lives and works in Bergen. She is the daughter of the designer and graphic designer Augon Johnsen and the elder sister of the visual artist and illustrator Mari Kanstad Johnsen.
