Hello nice to meet you. Welcome to my profile. Enjoy yourself while you look through what Ive seen and read. Watched a handful of anime as a kid including spirited away on VHS. Got back into it during intermediate and high school when I met some classmates that would watch some anime during lunch. Somewhere during that I got into manga. Since starting university Ive really expanded the amount of anime Ive watched and manga Ive read. With university over I got a lot of free time outside of work to watch anime. Show Favourites If the show has multiple seasons I will favourite the first season which will speak for the rest of the series. otherwise its just a series with a single season a movie an ova/ona or a tv short that i really love or means a lot to me like Wotakoi. 500 https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/hotlink/thumbnails/crop1200x630gID/cms/news.3/162578/wotakoikinen2.jpg Score system My review system is simple. Did I enjoy it? quality still plays an important part but the main factor is enjoyment. Done indepth reviews of shows in the past and Im sure my critical review score would differ from my enjoyment score but Im not here to earn a high grade on a university english essay. A simple enjoyment score system is good enough for me on this website. I do use the 1 10 system with .5s. 10 Perfection no flaws nothing needs to be improved. an unachievable score we aim to reach there is always room for improvement. I mean this in a positive way. 9 Its a great show and I had a great time watching it. 8 It was very good and I enjoyed it a lot. 7 It was good I liked it. A significant difference between a 6 and a 7. sort of applies to 6.5s. 6 It was okay...I still managed to enjoy it and find things I liked about it. Also my average rating for single episode OVAs and shorts but a 6 for them is more positive than a 6 is for a fulllength anime season. 5 Enough to give it a pass but it has substantial issues. 4 Four and down is just bad 4 is just not good and 1 would be a show with absolutely no redeeming qualities. Anything with a .5 is somewhere inbetween how i feel with each of the single decimal scores. Staff Favourites The staff that I choose to favourite are the authors of my favourite mangas and the directors of my favourite animes. I love and respect the voice actors of these shows as well. I just dont go out of my way to look them up normally unless theyre notable or i begin to recognise their voice/tone across various animes Studio Favourites If they have produced some of my favourites or more wellliked animes I will favourite that studio. Dates The starting date and ending dates for some of the stuff I read and watch arent included because I cant remember them and/or it was from the myanimelist data transfer. I first watched some of these as a kid and I have no clue when I first watched my childhood animes. I did my best to include the start and end dates for as many of them as I can. Rewatches and rereads If I remember how many times I rewatched or reread a certain anime or manga Ill try and add it. some of it is guesswork but most of it is accurate.
