Honestly, there isn't much to say about me. I'm a 16 year old socially-awkward weeb currently attending high-school in Spain (although I don't speak Spanish which is kind of a problem). I've always been more introverted and have terrible social skills both in real life and online. My main hobbies as you might be able to guess are watching Anime, reading Manga and gaming.
Introduction to Anime and Manga:
Back when I was a child, the only Anime I really watched was the stuff that aired on the TV such as Inazuma Eleven and Kirby as well as YuGiOh since I played the card game with my friends. Obviously however, at the time, I saw these as nothing more than regular cartoons although I still enjoyed them quite a bit more than western cartoons such as Ben 10. For the next few years, I didn't really watch much Anime apart from the occasional rewatch of YuGiOh, I did however quite like the Anime art style and i did occasionally listen to Nightcore. The first time I actually watched Anime while being aware that it was Anime was in my first year of highschool when I watched Shingeki no Kyojin, although that was basically it for that year. During the next school year, I continued to watch anime casually although I didn't complete very many series. About a year ago though, something changed and with the help of one of my friends I instantly began to watch anime more frequently, quickly becoming the weeb I am today.
My introduction to Manga was a little less organic though. Shortly after I began watching Anime, some of my weeb friends decided to go to an Anime convention and decided to let me join as long as I watched a certain number of series and read at least one Manga. The manga that they selected was One Punch Man. Despite my introduction, I really enjoyed it and after I caught up to One Punch Man I began reading other Manga series, mainly from Anime series I'd already watched such as Tokyo Ghoul.
Here's the man who ruined my life --> Reoken
Note: All scores are extremely biased and based almost completely on my personal enjoyment of a series and the impression it left on me. These are also just general guidelines and aren’t strictly applied to each series I watch.
10 - Masterpiece, loved almost all of it, one of my top favorites, felt at least somewhat empty after completing it, negligible flaws if any (in my eyes).
9 - Amazing, really liked most of it, had an impact but didn’t necessarily leave me empty, had some minor flaws that didn’t detract from the viewing experience.
8 - Very good, had a few flaws that stood out but didn’t necessarily ruin it, am open to re-watching if I feel like it.
7 - Good, somewhat flawed/has some annoying character/moments but overall quite enjoyable, wouldn’t object to re-watching some scenes or episodes but probably wouldn’t decide to re-watch the series.
6 - Not bad/average, there were many flaws/boring moments but I still enjoyed it.
5 - Meh, I didn’t hate it, but I wouldn't call it good either, watchable and somewhat enjoyable but not something I would re-watch or recommend to people.
4 - Bad, more flaws than good points, I was able to complete it but it wasn’t particularly enjoyable, I don’t regret watching it, despite not liking it.
3 - Very bad, didn’t enjoy it at all, had a few good aspects that stood out but didn’t improve it, overall quite a bad/boring series.
2 - Horrible, waste of my time, hated almost all of it, had some minor good points that didn’t improve the experience.
1 - Abomination, either a catastrophic adaptation of something good or an insult to anime, complete failure on almost every level, negligible if any good points, relieved after I finished it.
