Im generally of the impression that one season of a longer franchise does not make the entire anime or manga. There will always be some factors that we as viewers or readers cannot possibly know which happens during the production of every season or part. Therefore I prefer to rate the series as a whole if that can be helped. My Top is never really set in stone but can change as I go along. And next to these there are myriads of anime and manga that I have enjoyed so even if they arent mentioned here it does not necessarily mean that I dont like them or dont find them enjoyable.
