Most of my notes should warn ahead of time about spoilers but some old ones might not so beware. For simplicitys sake I use a 20 points interval for my ratings 0.5 intervals and my scores dont line up perfectly with how much I enjoyed them but I cant claim to be objective either but if its under 5 I probably regret having spent time on it to some degree. And if I scored something odds are I left some notes about it. While I try to take into account plot mishaps the way exposition is done characterization pace ending etc. The way I perceive them and how much importance I give each of them for a particular series is essentially up in the air. Im not going to judge a bad ending on an action series as harshly as I would in a mystery manga for example and if the author frames their manga as something silly from the getgo Im not going to mind convenient plot developments as much. I also might take the age of the manga into account I can cut old manga some slack in the art and paneling department though I tend to not judge art harshly anyway as well as not minding tropes as much given that they wouldnt have been that overused at the time they were made compared to the present. While its a factor enjoyment doesnt directly determine the score so just because something has a higher score than something else it doesnt mean I liked it more specially if they are different genres. I also have an affinity for delinquent manga and I tend to dislike romance and ecchi series and thats probably going to have an effect on my average score in said series. Having said all this Im not going to pretend my scores are objective I think theres no way to judge media objectively different people might disagree on whats an issue and how important specific issues are for the story.
