Got to see the movie in the local theater today and I was pleasingly surprised by it. Movie had many funny scenes where the whole cinema laughed, it was quite an experience. Animation was great, especially the fights and for example Anya's scene with the poop king guy. My only gripe with it is that it's not very original in regards to how the story starts and unfolds. They always use the same motivations for Yor, Loid and Anya to basically do anything. Loid will think about something along the lines of "If x doesn't happen the family is over". Anya reads his mind and completely misunderstands it shoots above the mark and Yor is the basically the same. Her whole motivation in the movie basically stemming from misunderstanding Loid . I feel like this makes the characters more one dimensional and simple than they need to be, although I am not sure if that is just something Spy x Family does on purpose and I might think too much about. I somehow hoped for something a bit more, maybe some character development or some more background story. What are your thoughts on it?

We also notice Nina's growing selfconfidence. I love the way the characters express their feelings for each other by shouting at each other, as in their music. The miniconcert at the end was really poignant, and the 3D rendered the dynamism of the scene perfectly, which I really appreciated The humor in this episode was also hilarious, especially when Nina and Subaru carry Madoka xD So what did you think of this episode, dear friends?

This anime brings out the worst in me because I start getting into discussions with my sister on the mechanics of mpreg birth. Because its kind of a bummer in a speculative biology family life series to just skip over the entire pregnancy? I think just having brief abortion doubts due to self hatred being the only thing shown is a waste of what could have been a whole pregnancy arc, but its just over in less than a full episode. It would have been more interesting to see than introduced, anxiety, bam new baby to be cute. Its all sickeningly sweet and adorable, but I'm a sicko who says if we're doing omegaverse we're going all in at least show me any baby bump.

Ditch the anime, seriously. It skips way too much, leaving you scratching your head. No proper buildup for why the humans suddenly trust our MC – in the manga, he works hard for it. His powers, the whole human sl@ve thing from episode 1 – way more fleshed out in the manga. Anime just fastforwards, leaving plot holes galore. I'm so frickin' mad because the manga's easily in my top 5 favorites, and they treat it like garbage

Despite my list still contains those, I'm very picky about this so yeah, if you have any, feel free to recommend it and I will filter all of those based on genres I prefer. In other words, just drop all of those manga series I haven't read that have great drawings and such I wouldn't want any of PTSD or epilepsy from reading any of these Japanese comics for instance, CSM was horiffic, I'm NGL. I generally prefer male vocals. Recently I've been mainly listening to Japanese music, primarily Hitorie, the pillows, RADWIMPS, natori, syudou, MONO NO AWARE, and a bit of ime44. I also listen to a bit of hiphop, like Kendrick and MF DOOM. I'll put a few tracks by each of them below. Feel free to recommend anything you think I'd like.

PEAK IS BACKKK Crazy news ngl I was fully expecting a fall release but I'm so happy we're getting it this soon. Seeing portions of Nadeko Draw in this PV already has me hella hyped. No sign of Acerola bon appetite which has me thinking we might get another trilogy like Kizu . Also no sign of Musubimonogatari so maybe we'll get a 6 episode ONA like Tsukimonogatari Edit: also Yoasobi's theme "UNDEAD" is confirmed to be an ED in case anyone was worried about them replacing character OPs
