A young Ishbalan who looks after his younger brother Rick. For a time he held a deep resentment against his mother for abandoning them during a military raid but changed his opinion after learning that his mother suffered from an illness leading to blindness. After Scar decided to fulfill his brother039s goal and create the Philosopher039s Stone Leo hated Scar for becoming an 039exile039 however Edward039s word convinced him not to judge people for their choices. Toward the end of the anime series Edward receives permission from the military to have Leo and his brother Rick released and transferred to Resembool however both Rick and Leo turn down the offer. Leo doesn039t appear in the manga.
