Noel is the main character of the story who participated in the operation of Daybreak. At the beginning of the narrative she and other children underwent rigorous training in an unusual church. She did not remember how she got into it including her own name in that place she was called Number 13. Day after day she studied the art of waging wars and practical training in handtohand combat. As a result of rigorous training and punishment she sincerely began to hate all the mentors of the church and the emperor for whom she supposedly had to become a shield and a sword. In this monotonous environment Noel begins to think about how to achieve happiness. And by the end of the operation she gathers around her children who like her dream of finding their own happiness. However all children die at the last stage and Noel remains the only survivor. After that she lived for some time in the village of Zoim and after she was forced to participate in the uprising Noel would join the armed forces of Coimbra and advance in the service. Using all of her knowledge and experience she gathered in the church Noel achieves laudable successes and in gratitude for her achievements she was honored to take the surname Bosheit.
