Fitting to his appearance Chihiro is a flashy shaman who cares deeply about his looks for the sake of others having an good impression on him. Chihiro tends to flirt with many women he comes across often coming off as a Casanova most of the time. It is also shown that he harbors feelings towards Yayoi often trying to impress her with his flashy shaman abilities. Despite his cavalier attitude he is deeply dedicated to his obligations as a Shaman and is quite perceptive when it comes to reading the emotions and intentions of others.
