Medaka Kuroiwa

The male protagonist of the show Kuroiwa is a monkintraining that enlisted to a Tokyo public school in an attempt to steel his heart and get himself rid of all worldly desires in line with his religion. This attempt is later conflicted by Kawai Mona however as she continually shows him affection in order to make him fall for her. Typically stoic he ripostes to Monas usual charms with a cold scowl not to give in to desire but his struggles and true emotions are often revealed as he blushes and reacts lovestruck away from Monas view. Because of his time as a monk he gets easily excited from things others around him might consider normal such as a school festival or a concert often staying around and losing focus when he admires such activities.
