Zixin Wang

An independent game designer an illustrator that cannot code. He created the Abyss Game with the protagonist being Abyss. One day after being informed by his boss that the game is terrible he gets stabbed by Abyss and the time rewinds to the moment he was talking with his coworker. The loop repeats several times until the configuration is triggered and Wangzi enters the world of Abyss Game. The action takes place 8 years before the main story begins. He was given a mission by the mysterious and faceless Abyss Games Administrator to help Abyss clear the game while preventing him from degenerating. At first Wang Zixin wants to avoid and is scared of the games protagonist but later they begin to work well with each other.
