Abel Brehme

Nationality: East German Affiliation: Socialist Unity Party of Germany Abel is an intelligent educated man described as impossible to read. Head of the Brehme family and Beatrixs father. Abel is the source of most of her growing pains as the two are in a cold war over how her future should play out. When Jrgen enters the picture Abel and him begin a complicated relationship based in debts mutual respect and necessity. He is a bureaucrat in the Ministry of Trade and Industry a member of the East German Economic Planning Commission and rumored to have ties to the Stasi as well. His father was a prominent communist that defected to the USSR before World War II making the Brehme family a member of East Germanys nomenklatura.
