Naoko Yanagisawa

Grade: 4th 6th Naoko Yanagisawa is one of Sakura Kinomotos elementary school classmates and friends. She is also on the schools cheerleading squad with Sakura despite being rather bad at gymnastics. Naoko loves to read particularly fantasy stories and ghost stories. She finds mysterious situations fascinating and shows no fear of scary situations. During an interview Clamp noted that they had originally intended for the character to have a longdistance boyfriend but the chapter featuring that story was cut out of the series. Source: Wikipedia
