Nicholas Wayne

An information broker for the Daily Days its Chief Editor and the copy editor of the newspapers English edition. Much of Nicholas personality in the anime is actually Henrys. Henry in the light novels is extremely manipulative operating under the belief that information is power and by controlling information one has the power to influence events. Nicholas adopts this mentality in the anime where he purposefully stirs up trouble between the Runoratas and the Gandors for the sake of gleaning information. In the novels Nicholas is both capable and decent. Upon overhearing Henry admitting he told Roy Maddock to take Eve Genoard hostage which Nicholas did in the anime with Gustavo Bagetta he confronts Henry and calls him shameless and inelegant outraged to the point of nearly punching him. He refrains only because Henry was fighting for justice. Nicholas in both the novels and the anime seems to have a slight sarcastic streak.
