End Date Bug

This seems to be an old bug but seeing as the last time a mod responded was over half a year ago Id like to bring this issue up again as well as add a recommendation for fellow anilisters. The end date for anime and manga is only updated if the piece is manually set to completed and doesnt work when the user reaches the last episode from the home page. The goaround is of course than to always manually complete works itll set the episodes to the total number automatically. Sorry to the mods if this was already planned for the next update just wanted to be certain : Also while Im at it could I inquire whether the other bug reports were read as some didnt receive feedback and if so how far into the future theyre predicted to be resolved?
