Chichi wo Yaku

Yoshiaki Mikami is 55 years old. As his daughter leaves the nest to look for work in the city, he begins to realize his own old age, which makes him think of his late father. Yoshiaki's father, Yoshio, suddenly died all alone 23 years ago. Yoshiaki was living his own life as a contract worker when he was faced with this major ordeal.
