Non Non Biyori such an amazing anime Sometimes you question yourself what really is the greatest anime youve ever seen. Well here we have a nearly flawless anime. Aside from the entire show being amazing. Non Non Biyori excels at comedy and calmness. This show doesnt focus on forced comedy either. They even use buildups for the comedy which makes you grin out of nowhere. Sometimes it doesnt focus on comedy. There have been numerous times where I cried harder than most sad anime I had watched. Most of the time it focuses on morals too like family relationships. They do use nice visuals which are good for the backgrounds and stuff. All thats important is that it is consistent. The character designs are unique. Though for some reason the main character never smiled. The body proportions are all over the place though. A 6th grader looks fully mature and the 12th grader looks like a loli. Nothing wrong though. Another thing is that NNB has no fanservice. Somehow even the beach episode felt more to wholesome than cheap lewds. Amazing job by Silver Link. Sound Given that the theme of the show is in the boonies the respective opening used for the entirety of all seasons are well matched. Add some catchy lines and youve got yourself an opening worth listening to. The voice acting is fine nothing else really stands out. Glasseskun never got his lines to speak in the anime though. The overall soundtrack is nice to listen to. Worthy to be lofi music. However it doesnt stand out so its not memorable. While it isnt even a shounen youd realize that Renchon and her friends are very realistic. The relationships are the best though. Their relationships between one another are well written and can even make a grown man cry. Renchon growing as a whole and becoming more mature is another aspect to pay attention to throughout the series. It is a nice anime to sit down to and relax but again Non Non Biyori is nearly perfect. It managed to have a consistent run while making sure every aspect is consistent.
