Library of Heavens path is the basic manhwa about martial arts cultivation where the main character Zhang Xuan is reborn into the body of a failed teacher in a martial arts academy after having died in a library fire in his previous life The details are not mentioned in the manga. Before the previous owner of the body died he left quite a mess for Zhang Xuan to fix. Thus after learning that he possess an ability called the Library of Heavens path which lets Zhang Xuan see through all martial arts weaknesses. Together with the students that reluctantly join him after doubting his abilities he sets out on a journey become one of the greatest teachers and martial arts experts under the heavens. Thus Far from what I have read so far the manga for Library of Heavens Path is a fairly good adaptation of the original novel that I read on Wuxiaworld. From the few Manhwa that I have read I often find myself disliking either the art style or the approach that the writers take in terms of how the story is written and many of the translations can often be pretty sloppy. I will not say that this manga is a perfect adaptation of the original novel but thus far there are very few things that I can actually complain about. Even in this manga/manhwa I still have some gripes about certain terms used to refer to things that are different from the main novel that sounds unnatural when you compare them. I am also pretty satisfied with the way the characters were designed. Zhang Xuan certainly was not how I expected him to be but am satisfied with the character design nonetheless. Some of the art can be goofy in various situations but it somehow fits the spirit of the original novel. I have great expectations for this manga/manhwa as there is a long story ahead of it. It would certainly be a shame if it were to stop at any point from here on. The novel itself was a solid 9/10 with a 7/10 ending mainly due to it being rushed. However if you ever get the chance to read through it I can say that most people will certainly be hooked on its great story line and goofy antics of Zhang Xuan the storys main character. There is alot of development left to be made but I am sure that once it all comes together that there will be plenty of moments in which readers will be able to laugh and cry about. I would say that as far as first impressions goes I am certainly impressed that the main spirit of the story remains and that it has not been done a disservice like the did with The Desolate Era. There are plenty of good stories out there that would be amazing if adapted into manga/manhwa. However the basic anime art style does not fit the kind of stories that are based on Chinese martial arts. For that reason at least Library of Heavens path in my opinion is cut above other novel adaptations.
