The series is set during the shogun era. Where Guns are a new thing and everyone carries a sword. Humanoid Cats are the main species in this series and live with there gods. The gods being humans. Our MC has a bell which shows that he is an owned cat which means that he is professionally trained all that other stuff. I mean the bell is proof that he was a slave to a god and who doesnt want to be a slave to a god? Dont quote me on this. So our MC is on a journey to find his master hounded by the spirit of the god he killed. Equipped with only a sword and his wits. His dick too technically. Lets see how many of you know about Cat biology. This series starts off strong. Badass entrances epic stunts amplified with its art. We get the idea of the story they introduce the big bad. We see the kind of presence he has. However after the first volume the series just kinda goes downhill. As more information and characters is revealed the less and less interested i was in this series. This manga uses Cats as its main theme but i feel like it didnt use it as its full potential. There are funny moments in this series like the toilet is a litter box Feline Wanted and other small jokes but its not good enough. The series also has a misogynistic problem. I could write that sentence in every manga I read I know but this one takes the icing on the cake because its our main character whos an asshole. Its worse too since they just play it off as a gag. This series also takes itself seriously so this really felt out of place. I have no idea what the fuck the author was thinking. Honestly this was probably the turning point in the series quality wise. The art direction could use some work too. Even though I did quite enjoy the art of this series sometimes I cant tell for shit what the fuck is going on. There is so much information thrown at once at weird angles I have no idea what is going on. This isnt really a big issue but it still kinda breaks the pacing of the series. The art also takes a bit of a hit in the final volume. Like characters just become lines in the background. Kinda threw me off. There are also these twist involving characters i dont care about. So lets not even talk about. The ending of this series was actually if not very rushed. The final battle as well was just me thinking man the author really got tired of writing this huh?. There is no epic final battle between monster. It ends at an instant. Pretty underwhelming albeit cool. Overall I think if the author focused on making the characters more fleshed out more interesting this couldve been something worth reading but as of right now Its a time killer. An enjoyable time killer. 6/10
